What should you do if your own dog bites you?
I have a Maltese he is about 1 1 / 2 years. Got him from a breeder when he was 6 months. Today, it was on my bed with his bone / process (the bone was not in his mouth) I picked well put it on the ground, he began to growl and bit me twice on my hand and jumped and bit me on my thigh (N bit me three times). Fortunately, they are not deep, but still get a tetanus shot. And once he bit me on the arm (not deep) to take out of bed when he played with his bones (yeah I know I should have learned!). He has also bitten once, but my sister who was b / c his nail was trapped on the bedsheet and as she tried to get him off it was probably hurt him and he bit her on the finger, the injury was somewhat deeper. So in this situation, I do not blame the dog b / c it was probably in pain. But what happened today I am confused b / c Ive never really heard of dogs biting their owners. Not too sure what to do? Is it only an aggressive dog? need training? get rid him?

If you live with a new puppy, there are many things that both of you need to learn, but one of the most important lessons that or she will have of you is that biting is unacceptable! Dogs, like humans, are creatures of habit, and if they form habits very early in life, you will find them much more difficult to break as long as they get seated. A puppy nipping at you is one thing. You may be able to ignore it, but a dog continues to bite, even playing as an adult is a danger to himself and others. Take time to learn about puppy biting and what you can do to get rid of it.
First, be aware that biting is natural behavior for a puppy. A puppy bites constantly and PIN with you is not bad, he is only exploring the world around him with the tools at his disposal. He is mouthing things and learning about them, and when it bites, it is also likely to exercise his muscles and learning what kind of dexterity and strength he has. The puppies playing with each other play-bite each other all day if they can.
When you are ready to take the puppy bites, remember that you should not punish your puppy if you catch him in flagrante delicto.
